Panda's albums of the year
OK, the year in review. What music did the Panda like you ask?
Well, in no particular order
1. John Legend--Get Lifted (OK, my favorite of the year)
2. Bob Dylan--Live 1964 (A young Zimmy talking and singing in NYC)
3. Talib Kweli--The Beautiful Struggle (A few of his best songs, a few of his weakest)
4. Mos Def--The New Danger ("I love `the Panties'")
5. The Killers--Hot Fuss (some say new Morrisey. I don't agree. But good voice, OK lyrics, one out of two ain't bad)
6. Brian Wilson--Smile
7. Mary Lee's Corvette--700 Miles (this might have been last year, but it was good)
8. Johnny Cash--Unearthed
9. Keane--Hopes and Fears (white boy wuss rock)
10. Raphael Saddiq--Ray Ray (some good R&B, but underwhelming)
Thanks,
